AI GCC Hub — Distributed Capability Network™
The talent is no longer
only in Bangalore.
Neither should your GCC be.
The Distributed Capability Network™ is Miracle Global’s model for placing GCCs in India’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities — where talent depth has reached a threshold that changes the economics, the retention, and the quality of what you build.

The Case for Tier 2/3
The talent moved.
Most GCC firms
haven't noticed yet.
The engineers who graduated from IIT Roorkee, NIT Trichy, or BITS Pilani in 2019 went to Bangalore because that was where the jobs were. The ones who graduated in 2023 have more options. A well-structured GCC in Pune, Chandigarh, or Kochi is a better career opportunity for many of them than a vendor bench in Bangalore — and they know it.
The cost difference is significant. A 20-person AI team in Pune runs at approximately $28,000 to $38,000 per month all-in. The equivalent team in Bangalore costs $45,000 to $60,000 per month. The talent calibre at senior specialist level is comparable. The attrition rate is significantly lower.
Miracle Global has operational presence in 20+ India cities. We recommend the city that optimises for your specific talent profile, your domain, and your budget — not the city that is most convenient for us to operate in.
“Tier 2 cities are not the backup option. For most Nano and Micro GCCs, they are the right first choice.”
Miracle Global — Distributed Capability Network™
Tier 1 attrition impact
At 40% annual attrition on a 30-person team — 12 people leave per year. 12 onboarding cycles. 12 knowledge transfer gaps. Ongoing cost and disruption.
Tier 2 attrition impact
At 18% annual attrition on a 30-person team — 5 to 6 people leave per year. Manageable. The team’s institutional knowledge deepens. The capability compounds.
Cost of replacement
Each departure costs 50–80% of annual salary in recruitment, onboarding, and lost productivity. Tier 2 reduces this significantly.
Our recommendation
For Nano and Micro GCCs, we recommend Tier 2 cities in most cases. The cost and retention case is too strong to ignore. For Enterprise GCCs, a hybrid Tier 1 + Tier 2 model often makes sense.
